Our last event was our fall program in October, 2024 with a lecture on “19th Century Bath Ship Carvers” presented by Earle G. Shettleworth, Jr., Maine State Historian. (Rescheduled from April.)
Collections
The Bath Historical Society’s collections are available for researchers at the History Room at the Patten Free Library.
Publications
Bath Historical Society publishes an Annual Calendar, available for sale in downtown stores and online. The Society also supports the publication of books on Bath History.
Research

The Patten Free Library’s History Room is open throughout the year for you to consult both their collections as well as those of BHS. Check the History Room website for their open days and hours.
Email us with your research question. If it can be answered quickly, we will do it! If it requires more time, we can discuss proceeding for a small research fee. Please include as much information as possible when you send us your request.
